Coronavirus Statement

Macpac is a major manufacturer of pharmaceutical and food packaging which are essential to the supply chains of pharmacies and supermarkets.

For this reason, we are committed to running a fully functioning factory with all production staff for both the day and night shifts. We have implemented an extremely strict hygiene regime which goes way beyond the BRC/IOP standard for the entire premises to ensure that we keep the factory running during these challenging times.

All members of staff have signed commitments to follow company guidelines whilst on company premises and the UK government guidelines outside of company hours.

We are in constant contact with our raw materials supply chain and have explored as many of the potential factors that we can currently envisage which can disrupt our supply chains. We are confident that our supply chains are sufficiently robust that we will be able to assure full supplies for at least the following twelve weeks.

We typically carry between six to nine weeks’ worth of raw materials across a large range of assorted sizes and have now started to ramp up stockholdings to cover up to twelve weeks.

We are aware that the situation is constantly changing, and we will remain vigilant to the evolving situation. We will be issuing regular updates as and when necessary.

Please speak to your account manager to ensure that we can manage your requirements over the next twelve weeks.
