About us

Macpac Limited is a long established BRC/IOP certified manufacturer of high quality thermoformed packaging.

Our Ethos is “Pride in Creativity” and we have worked hard over the past 40 years to create a business environment whereby our clients can appreciate the creative process as much as we do. Everything from our sales specialists and designers to our in-house tool-rooms, reflects our ethos, demonstrating the pride and enjoyment we take in working together.
We know that our customers appreciate our enthusiasm and our desire to prove that we are best in class. We have the most flexible and comprehensive range of production machinery with two complete machine halls along with a full toolmaking capability all under one roof here in Stockport – everything to see your projects through from concept to fruition successfully and painlessly.

With four innovation awards in three years our track record proves that we mean what we say. We are not your usual thermoformer but a driving force in creativity and innovation.

Facility Improvements

Between 2010 and 2015 we undertook 3 major planned factory expansion and refurbishment programmes. These included integration of the Hamilton Plastics Packaging business that was acquired in 2011. The final phase saw an increase in factory capacity of over 50% with extended tool rooms equipped with new CNC machine tooling centres.

The new streamlined factory facility also has a finished goods capacity of over 1000 pallets. The production hall now features 12 Illig pressure forming machines.

In the spring of 2017 the sales team which has doubled in size, moved into a purpose designed office suite adjacent to the production centre. The new offices present a more comfortable customer oriented environment away from the bustle of the manufacturing process.

During the summer of 2017 a further expansion of the toolroom facilities increased the number of CNC machining centres up to 5.
