Macpac Limited is a long established, major UK ISO 9000 certified manufacturer of vacuum formed packaging. We supply a wide range of point-of sale and specialist bespoke packaging solutions to a diverse cross section of industry and blue chip retail companies.

In addition to our bespoke packaging we also manufacture the BlisterKing range of stock blisters with more than 110 shapes and sizes to choose from. We also offer the semi bespoke Eurocel range that gives more of a customized look and feel with only a fraction of the tooling costs of a bespoke pack.
Other products manufactured include self locking clamcells, die cut packaging, transit trays and display trays.
During 2010 we completed an extensive refurbishment of our Stockport manufacturing premises. This involved doubling the size of the toolrooms and creating a further 15,000 sq ft of warehouse space incorporating a new palletising system allowing us to hold much greater levels of finished goods.
Two brand new Illig pressure forming machines, an RD53c and RV74c, were also installed within the newly configured production facility that conforms to BRC/IOP and ISO 9000 standards. Three new ultrasonic welding machines have been added to the contract packing department for welding APET/RPET packs.
During the summer of 2011 Macpac acquired the thermoforming business of Hamilton Plastics Packaging based in Northampton. Production was moved from Northampton to Stockport along with selected machinery. Customers converting over to Macpac now enjoy the additional facilities Macpac provide.
The final factory expansion stage has been planned for 2012/13. We anticipate that customers will continue to enjoy seamless supply of goods as was the case throughout the 2010 expansion. Once completed it will strengthen even further our guarantee to provide the highest possible quality service for all your thermoformed packaging requirements.
